What is Winter Camp?
Winter Camp is a mini long-term camping experience. Participants will be able to work on advancement while enjoying the beauty of the Ozark Mountains in the winter.

What about the food?
All meals will be provided and served in the dining hall. Meals will be served in a modified family style where some items are on the table and some items are served in a line.

Will I need to provide my own tent and bedding?
Yes, participants must bring their own tents and bedding. All camp tents are stored for the winter.

What time do we show up?
Please plan on checking in between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.

Will there be a trading post available?
Yes, the trading post will be open for your convenience.

Do I need a Physical for each participant?
Yes, you will need a minimum class I physical. A class I physical is a basic health history with allergies and medications listed. If you have your physicals for summer camp, bring those.

How do we register for Winter Camp?
Once you pay your initial deposit of $25, your leader will be emailed a username and password for our online registration system. Visit www.kiakima.com to access the registration system. Enter your username and password and enter the system.

My troop isn’t going, can I attend?
Yes, we offer a provisional troop at winter camp. The provisional troop is sponsored by one of the regularly attending troops.

Do we camp if it snows?
Yes, A Scouts is prepared for all types of weather.
